Women's and Gender Studies Program

Women’s and Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary academic program that uses gender as a central framework for inquiry, analysis, and action. Our courses offer dynamic educational experiences that cross the traditional boundaries of academic departments and embrace a variety of approaches. The Women's and Gender Studies Program offers a challenging, interdisciplinary course of study that is inclusive, feminist, anti-racist, LGBTQ-positive, and global in scope. It is committed to social, economic, and environmental justice, and directed towards using knowledge to create a world that is equitable and sustainable.
